Ascendry

Why Ascendry (not instead of Warcraft Logs)

We like Warcraft Logs. Ascendry doesn't replace it — it answers a different question. WCL tells you how a pull ranked against the world. Ascendry tells you whether your guild is improving.

Two different questions

Warcraft Logs asks: how did this pull compare to the world's best? A world percentile, per fight.

Ascendry asks: how is this player — and this guild — trending against their own past, raid over raid?

Both are useful. One is a scoreboard; the other is a coach.

Where Warcraft Logs wins

Credit where it's due: WCL owns world rankings, has an enormous community and add-on ecosystem, streams logs live during the pull, and covers every game and expansion. If you want to know how you stack up globally, use it — and keep using it. Ascendry is the layer on top for your own guild's trajectory.

What Ascendry adds

  • Guild report card — roster grades, recurring offenders, and who's most improved across the season.
  • Self-vs-self — every player measured against their own history, boss by boss, so the bar is fair to every spec.
  • Death reports — what's actually killing the raid, ranked by recurrence, and which deaths were healing gaps.
  • Gear & BiS + loot advisor — read from your own logs, down to enchants and gems.
  • Own your data — your logs sit in your workspace and are queryable in plain language through the AI / MCP layer.

That AI/MCP access is the headline of a coming Guild Pro tier; the web app stays free for guilds. More in the FAQ.
