Ascendry

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 9, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Ascendry (the “Service”), operated by Ascendry. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. The Service

Ascendry analyzes World of Warcraft raid combat logs and presents performance grades, trends, gear insights, and related tools. Features, limits, and pricing may change over time.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You sign in with Discord and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) to use the Service. Keep your login secure; tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload logs or data you don’t have the right to share, or that violate another party’s privacy or rights.
  • Misuse, disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its data.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to harass others.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service or its data except as expressly permitted (e.g. your own use of the API/MCP under your plan).

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the logs and data you upload. You grant Ascendry a limited license to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Service and provide it to you and the workspace members you share it with. You represent that you have the right to upload it. You can delete your logs at any time.

5. Subscriptions & billing

  • Paid plans (Guild Pro, Player Pro) are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and auto-renew until cancelled.
  • You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues through the end of the current paid period, after which the plan reverts to free.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and partial periods are not pro-rated. We may change prices with notice; changes apply to the next renewal.
  • Guild Pro bills the workspace (its owner); Player Pro bills an individual and applies to that person.

6. Free plan & retention

The free plan is genuinely useful but capped (for example, heavy per-fight detail is retained for 60 days while season summaries are kept longer, and some features require a paid plan). Current limits are described on the pricing page.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including Discord (sign-in and posting), Stripe (payments), and Microsoft Azure (storage). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers’ terms. We aren’t responsible for third-party services.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, and its branding are owned by Ascendry and protected by law. World of Warcraft and related marks are trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment; Ascendry is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blizzard.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Analysis, grades, and recommendations are informational and may be incomplete or inaccurate; you use them at your own discretion. We don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be preserved.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ascendry will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or, if you’re on the free plan, zero).

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above; continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
